US Tariffs?

I do plan to continue to send to the US, but please be aware that there may be delays, and you, the customer will likely need to pay customs and handling fees once the order reaches the US. ONLY ORDER if you are prepared to pay an additional cost. If you order an item and it gets sent back because you refused to pay the customs duties, I will only refund the cost of the items and not the cost of shipping.

Why Is There No EU Specific Shipping?

Due to general changes in prices, Covid-19 and Brexit, keeping on top of everything as a one-man-band is incredibly difficult and for Penguinsbite’s sanity, it is easier to reduce the amount of options available.

Fulfilment Number Has No Tracking Number But Has A Space For It?

Unless tracking is selected as an option in checkout, there will not be a tracking number added (unless there is a case of the following issue)

I Paid Less/More Shipping Than The Shipping Label States?

There may be times when an order from Penguinsbite arrives with the cost written on the shipping label. You may have paid £5.00 but it shows £3.00 on the label. We have done our best to accurately price all shipping options and include the cost of packaging / handling but there are times where this may not reflect due to changes in prices / individual destination countries costing less international shipping than the average.

In circumstances that the customer has paid more, shipping can sometimes be upgraded (e.g. Economy shipping > upgrades to standard shipping)

In circumstances that the customer had paid less, there won’t be any additional cost to the customer even at the cost of Penguinsbite.

Shipping Dates In Checkout Don’t Match Preorder Shipping Dates

Shipping dates in checkout will always reflect the length of time it takes for delivery from the moment of ‘fulfilment’. A fulfilment occurs when the order has left possession of Penguinsbite and has been released into the postal system.

How Long Does It Take To Process An Order?

Please allow up to 5-7 days to process an order. Penguinsbite is organised almost completely by one person from production of products, marketing, store admin, web admin, stock admin, handling, packaging and dropping off at either the post office or a parcel box - while also working a 9-5 full time job 5 days a week. On any orders that require a commission, there may be an additional delay on the order while organising the artwork. Thank you for your patience.

Delivery Is Taking Longer Than Anticipated

If you are a US or EU customer, you can expect a delay simply due to the newly difficult and strict customs systems in place once your order arrives to the country of delivery.

If the delivery time has taken an extended amount of time beyond the expected amount of time for delivery as stated in checkout (not including order processing times or expected additional delays due to customs) please do not hesitate to fill out the contact form so it can be brought to the attention of Penguinsbite.

Please understand that if the shipping address provided was in any way incorrect, then a refund will
not be issued on shipping costs. If however, there is an issue on our side, we will do our best to organise some kind of compensation that can range from a refund to a store voucher.
